Other Conferences You Might Want to Attend This Fall

September 20, 2010 | by Scott Anderson

Even though our 2010 National Conference has sold out (we do have some reduced rate tickets for sale; call us for details), there are several other wonderful events you might consider attending this fall.

Together for Adoption Conference 2010

In partnership with Hope For Orphans and the Austin Stone Community Church, this event will be held at Hill Country Bible Church on October 1-2 in Austin, Texas. The theme is "The Gospel, the Church, and the Global Orphan Crisis."

Speakers include Dan Cruver (Co-founder and Director of Together for Adoption), Bryan Loritts, J. D. Greear, Dave Gibbons, and Matt Carter. Aaron Ivey will be leading worship at the event.

In their own words, "The 2010 conference will be our largest and most helpful conference yet, with gospel-saturated general sessions, longer breakout sessions, and more time to network with other churches, organizations, and adoptive families." Be sure to check out all the conference details.

Advance the Church

This regional conference will be held on October 8 at Vintage21 Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. The theme for this one-day event is Multiply: Becoming a Church Planting Church. Darrin Patrick ("Training Men to Multiply"), Chris Atwell ("Men Who Multiply"), and Tyler Jones ("Becoming a Multiplying Church") are the speakers for this event.

FallCon 2010

Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho introduces "The Institute of Awesome: Keeping Calvinism Sassy for the Next 500 Years" on October 8-9. The plenary speakers are Ben Merkle, Toby Sumpter, Douglas Wilson, and N. D. Wilson.

In this age of new media, it is paramount that believers keep abreast of the latest developments, including, but not limited to moveable type, pamphleteering, the three volume folio systematic, Twitter, FB, and 3G coverage, while at the same time staying faithful to the timeless truths that got us here.
